De son parcours éclair en GP, R Barrichello a été influencé par la décoration de son casque.

Il est l'élève de Wilson Fittipaldi il débute en F3 en 1975 avant de poursuivre chez Copersucar, Ingo ne dispute que 3 GP F1.

Il devient une vedette dans le championnat V8 Brésilien
