Prophet Racing est l'équipe personnel de David Prophet (1937-1981), pilote anglais spécialiste sport-protos des années 1960-70.

Né à Hong Kong, il débute en Austin-Healey Sprite 1959.

Prophet achète une Lola T70 Mk1 châssis SL70/10 en 1966. Moteur 5L Ford V8 450 ch. Première victoire BOAC 6h Brands Hatch 1967 avec Peter de Klerk (Afrique du Sud). 2e Silverstone 1000km 1967.

Il passe sur la Mirage M6-Ford Cosworth 1969. Sur le Nürburgring sous la pluie, Prophet passe 20 autos en 1 tour.

David Prophet meurt dans un accident d’hélicoptère alors qu’il quittait le circuit de Silverstone après avoir assisté à une course.
